About the show
The Dance, Music, and Theatre Department and the Theatre and
Performance Studies program incollaboration with 脕NIMO Theatre Company, are proud
to present 隆AY CHIHUAHUA! at the Malibu Hall theater!
A bilingual, mariachi musical set in the 1960s, 隆AY CHIHUAHUA! offers a little bit
of everything for everyone - drama, romance, and a celebration of life. The show takes
the audience deep into the
heart of M茅xico and features three cultures - the Indigenous Rar谩rumi, the Mennonites,
and the Mestizos -as it explores the immigrant experience. Originally staged by 脕NIMO
in 2017 in Ventura County to sold-out audiences, this updated revival includes performances
by Mariachi 脕guilas and 91视频鈥檚 Ballet Folklorico Club.
