Veterans Day Flag CeremonyNov. 4, 2024 - The 91Ƶ Veteran's Resource Center and The 91Ƶ Police Department invite the community to gather at the Central Mall in front of Rush Hall on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 11 a.m. for the 2nd Annual Veterans Day Flag Ceremony. This special event, in honor of all who have served our nation, will feature special appearances by the 146th United States Air National Guard Color Guard and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) Honor Guard bugler.

The event will include remarks from 91Ƶ leaders, as well as a keynote address by 91Ƶ President, Richard Yao. A flag ceremony will follow, performed by the 146th ANG Color Guard, with the American flag’s retirement and raising accompanied by “Taps,” played by the VCSO Honor Guard bugler.

91Ƶ students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to gather for this tribute, recognizing the service, bravery, and sacrifices made by veterans. Join us in honoring the legacy of courage and commitment upheld by those who have served our great nation.
