LRC is primarily a walk-in, drop-in tutoring center and no appointment is necessary to visit with an available tutor. Students are seen on a first-come basis, and tutors may work with up to three different individual students at a time, rotating between tutees in 20-minute intervals if the Center is busy.

Tutors also hold exam review sessions & nursing workshops to accomodate larger groups.

Connecting With a Tutor

LRC tutors can help with a variety of subjects. Please note that different tutors specialize in different subjects. Our staff will do their best to help you find a tutor.

View Tutor Schedules & Courses Supported

We have a Google Doc that displays all of our tutors, what courses they support, and their weekly schedules. Please note that tutor availability is subject to change throughout the weeks of the semester, given that they are students just like you and may have to shift around to accomodate courseload & other personal needs. Please read the first page on this document before attempting to look for a tutor in order to understand our operating hours, modalities of tutoring center on each day, and more.

If you need help with confirming when a tutor is available, please call us at the LRC Main Phone Line, drop into our LRC Zoom Room, or send us an email to ask one of our Student Assistants.

Limited Appointments

We allow two thirty minute appointments per student per subject per week. Students are welcome to visit with tutors on a drop-in basis at any time, with no restrictions.

If you wish to book one-on-one time with a tutor, or have a group appointment, you can come to the front desk or call to speak with one of our Student Assistants.

We also may use a survey system to book appointments. A member of our Student Assistant team looks over the details before booking any appointments to ensure proper matchup and tutor availability. This may require reaching out to the person wishing to book an appointment first. Please allow our team at least four (4) full business days to complete this process via the survey system.

The Spring 2026 LRC Appointment Request Survey will be open in the second or third week of the semester.
