Annually, the Black Faculty & Staff puts on a Black Student Stoling Ceremony for our
black students and their supporters. In conjunction with the traditional commencement,
it is meant to celebrate the tradition of cultural awareness at 91ÊÓƵ.
This special event recognizes students along with their family and friends to mark
the culmination of their student experience. As part of the ceremony, graduates will
receive a traditional Kente cloth stole/sash which may be worn during the campus'
Commencement celebration.
This year's Stoling Ceremony will be held, Friday, May 22, 2026 from 3 PM – 5 PM in the Grand Salon. Graduates and volunteers can RSVP at this .
Guests Welcome: Family, friends, and community members are warmly invited to join in the celebration.
Light refreshments will be served.
